Curly Hair
Step One: Usually you do the clothes first before you decided to do hair. So you want to pick what ever doll you are doing. Make sure the doll is in RGB color mode. So you can have more colors choices.

Step Two: Select your pencil tool and put it on the smallest size 1px

Step 3: Make a new layer. It is best to use a new layer so if you make a mistake you can go back with messing up the actual doll or base.

Step 4: Pick the color you want as highlights So if your doll is red head or light brown u want to choose a orange color:
Start in the middle of the scalp and work your way out: You want to make half loop strands. See the picture below.

Step 5: Keep working your way from the inside out. On both size of the head until you have the thickness you want.

Step 6: Be sure to also do this in the neck area so you have
more realistic looking hair
Step: 7 Make a new layer make sure this layer is under the layer with the liter color. Select the airbrush tool and use a large tip.

Step 8: Pick a darker color and use the airbrush tool to go around the shape of the hair.

Step9:Repeast step 9 on the other side of the head.

Step 9: link both hair layers and merged them as one.

Step 10: change the Opacity so that you can see the base.

Step 11: Using the eraser tool erase the hair over the body parts you wish to be visible. Its is best to use the airbrush eraser so that it gives it a smoother look.

Continue until you have achieve your look.

Step 12: Zoom in and fill in any blank spaces around the neck and face area using you pencil tool at 1px and which ever color us need to fill it in.

Step 13: Final Result.: Not bad right. Goes perfect for the look I was trying to make. If your are trying to get tighter curls make the loops bigger and add more liter strands.
